Free support in the US
Call 1-800-QUIT-NOW (1-800-784-8669) to reach your state quitline. The CDC says quitlines are available nationwide, free to callers, and confidential. They can help with cigarettes, e-cigarettes, and other tobacco products.
If you would rather start online, Smokefree.gov has quit-plan tools, texting support, and practical information. Our full US support guide has the details and additional options.
Expect cravings. Plan for them.
A craving is a short wave, not a command. Read what is happening in the nicotine withdrawal guide and keep a simple response ready with our cravings explainer.
